The Pentland Hills are easily reached from Edinburgh via Bus (~30 min). Seen from Edinburgh they form a beautiful landscape.
Jack, Patrick and me did not choose the perfect day, hence our sad faces, but it was good fun!
Very central, Calton Hill is located on the end of princess street. It is worth a visit, although the view is not comparable with Arthurs Seat. But you get to see the so called "disgrace". A monument, supposed to be a copy of the greek Parthenon, that had to be canceled due to financial problems...but Edinburgh can and probably is proud of its disgrace - it looks good in the cityscape and is lit brightly at night.
